Monica Deck is a writer in love with memoir and poetry. As a stay-at-home mother of a tiny human, her previously productive blog has been overshadowed by bottles and stuffed animals and the search for AWOL pacifiers. She hopes to remedy that in the near future.
When not otherwise occupied with chasing baby, she enjoys baking, archery, and researching nuclear disasters. She would love to live in a world where cookies are both currency and medical panacea; a world where genetic mutation is a cool thing, like the X-Men, instead of a global health concern.
Whilst she hatches more ideas for her first book, you can find her blogging over at Threshold Guardians Are My Whole Life, and writing cultural opinion essays for The Havok Journal
